WALKING

Walking is one environmentally friendly sport you could take up today. You don’t need any special equipment apart from a good pair of shoes, or any preparation, as you can go at your own pace.

Walking is low impact in all senses; it uses minimal resources, doesn’t cost a penny, and is gentle enough to suit all abilities. It is good for your heart, lungs, muscles, and bone growth, and your feelings of wellbeing.

People who walk regularly have reduced mortality rates, and up to half the risk of cardiovascular disease. Walkers are less anxious, sleep well, and have better body weight control. Expert control. Experts recommend 30 min of brisk walking daily.
