Why is it so important to drink a lot of water?

Water aids in the digestion and absorption of foods through the intestinal walls.
Water is important in the elimination of metabolic wastes.
Our thermoregulatory system depends critically on water. If you don’t have enough water to seat, you can’t receive the natural cooling benefit of water evaporating from your skin.
Most of our blood is water, so being well hydrated is central to maintaining a healthy blood volume. If blood volume drops, the natural cooling process of sending blood to the skin’s surface is impaired, and the heart rate is unnaturally elevated.
Water can be a healthy and natural appetite suppressant. Certainly, drinking water frequently can help give a sense of fullness.
