Try getting in touch with friends whom you have not seen for a while. Revive relations with old pals, distant relatives and acquaintances. Research indicates that you have better chances of coming across good opportunities through people outside your close circle. This is so because these people are probably more appropriate. Often you go to the easiest contact i.e. a person very well known to you when you need some help, but he may not be well positioned to help you out. Expand your reach a little further may be to the friends of your friends you will find a more appropriate person to contact and achieve what you want. It is also a law of numbers. The number of close acquaintances you have is always limited. But if you start linking to people who are not so close you are going to campaign on a much larger scale and your odds of success greatly improve.
