MEMO FROM NARA

During the month of August 07, we have seen some unpleasant events such as floods in Bihar, Orissa, Mumbai, Assam and West Bengal.
In addition, bomb blasts at Hyderabad city was a shocking incident.
The central government was shaken by the left parties on the issue of 123 agreements with the US.
The instability of the stock market threatened the traders.
However, some happy occasions like friendship day, onam and raksha bandhan relaxed us a bit.
The 60th anniversary of our independence was celebrated all over the country. Cine stars were arrested and released on bail. Cinemas like cheeni kum, chakde India, Sivaji provided entertainment to many.
Many things happened.
Some good and some bad.
Still life goes on for every one. We see the country is progressing at a faster rate. Educational institutions are coming up in large numbers to educate
the growing population.
Highway roads are being planned and laid.
Expansion of railway network is in the upward trend.
Everyone should be happy to see these developments which may take us to a better future.
